Patrick was born months after his father died and barely got through his first year before losing his mother too. Personality-wise he's very quiet. He's nice and happy but there's this sadness that clings to him. His eys are always a little tired and his excitement is always a little subdued. He has a tendency to keep to himself, and he has a preference for simple magic- tarots and divination and palm reading.

Cats (and animals) love him because of his calm disposition; he can sit still and quiet for so long, cats just come up and lie on him. Very non-threatening, calm, independent. Seems pretty serious, very like his parents, but sadder? Prue called him Pat and so did the sisters, till Paige called him Patty one day, and the girls had a discussion about how that was reserved for their mom. They have a similar talk with Henry, who ends up calling him Rick instead. Patrick himself has no preference.
