Hi all!! Little update: my surgery that was moved up to today is now pushed back and tentatively scheduled for just 5 more days away on November 7th pending insurance approval (it’s been a roller coaster so far with lots of back and forth since Chen is now out of network - more later 💙). Cross your fingers and send positive vibes for me!!! I’m so ready. This little push back, the why, and the thought of it potentially being pushed back further is bittersweet since I’ve been ready and needing this for so long (which is something this is helping to show me even deeper), but since I’ve been traveling so much and there have been so many roller coaster moments, it will give me a chance to stay put for a little beforehand and get more physically and emotionally solid and ready like I wanted to be when I go under so I come out and heal the best I can. I want this to go as smoothly as possible. 💙🌱 Everything is going to fall into place exactly how it’s supposed to. The Universe has a plan. Sometimes that’s a tough one to remember and feel and know in moments of stress and struggle, and when you need and want something so badly, but it’s true. It always works out - and sometimes better than we could ever imagine. Just have to keep doing everything I can on my side to make this happen, and trust the Universe with the rest. Dr. Chen and his team have been absolutely amazing so far working on figuring this out with me. I’m so grateful for them. And I’m so very grateful for my patient, loving partner...I love you, bb. 💙 And for everyone for your love and support thus far. I love you all!! 💙💙💙 We’ve got this. 💪🏼 In the meantime; I’ve been spending the last few days in Santa Barbara doing a bit of self care and relaxing with some friends. Anddddd...today is my birthday!!! Gonna go on a hike...to the beach...hang with my pupper...wiggle all day...mayyyyybe try a spin class...🙈 and then my friends here are going to take me to dinner later!! Please send good vibes this weekend that there’s no one in network with my current insurance plan so we might be able to submit an out of network exception request to move forward with surgery with Dr. Chen. Balloons are one of my favorite things in the world. I prefer the foil ones, or a giant bunch of regular ones. Also practicing leaving things alone which is hard for me. The first drawing was a little weird looking, so I made a second, only to discover I like the first one the best. It’s more cute.
