Ourtle

It's a background drawing practice.

Shavee's hair was the color of raven's feathers. It swallowed the light, concentrated it, and flashed it back at you in brilliant waves. She would rarely tie it up. Occasionally, she would hold up the bangs with a pin, adorned with jewels or butterflies and flowers. The wind could catch the strands and pull it back like an elegant fringe, cascading it like a wave. She said it was annoying, passing it back behind her ear and threatening to cut it. The shampoo she used held the fragrance of lilies. It lingered in the air slightly, coaxing you to come closer. Whatever it was, it made her hair feel like silk, it wrapped your fingers as they slipped through them. It didn't matter the occasion: A study session, a movie, a meal... your fingers would find their way into those delicate tresses. So of course, when she was acting cute you couldn't help but hold her close and ruffle it.

I guess you could call it hair practice???
