Development shots This spin was ‘roughed’ in After Effects and traced over in TVPaint to keep the faces upright and add a little human elasticity.

This is the final coloured sequence for the first scene. I tried to make the man stagger a little to make the woman’s weight believable - there are a lot of subtle mechanics to consider in this performance, and given the specific timing of the line of poetry it accompanies a certain amount of time restriction, but this was fun to negotiate. I am intending to add motion to make the man less static - either some boils or, if I run out of time, perhaps just basic grain.
