I called in sick last week. I have been so exhausted this semester and it finally all hit me and caused me to catch a cold so I stayed at home to rest my body. I have loved having an internship this semester to gain real-world experience in the field of my dreams but being away from campus and classes, having to take on a second job and still handling a social life has all been a lot. Luckily, only a few more weeks until summer!

I watched films this week and pulled clips. I’ve gotten pretty good at pulling clips and formatting them. I remember at the beginning of the semester when I needed to triple check I was formatting them correctly before sending them off but now it’s almost second nature.Â
This week I worked on creating a massive media coverage report for one of our film projects and it was some pretty tedious work, but it was nice to be needed and be working on something all day at work. Some days are much slower than others so there isn’t as much work to do but I really like days where I’m given one or more tasks that fills the hours of being there. It’s also cool to see my work being used and given to clients.Â
