I have really curly hair, and it tangles easily, any tips on how I cut it so that it doesn't look shitty if it's shorter?
When you say shorter, how short are we talking? I am assuming its somewhere around a pixie, but not necessarily a pixie cut.
Contrary to popular belief curly hair looks amazing when short! It is not all that hard to tend to either. It will actually be easier to tend to while it is shorter. Theres less brushing, and tangles to detangle.
It all depends on how you cut it, style is everything in this case. Undercuts have been increasingly popular , some people curl their hair to get a certain effect that is pretty hella example of course thats a style with wayyy shorter sides. there are also cuts like this or this, with longer sides.
there is also cutting to the point where hair does not completely curl example quite a few hair types do this. thats amazingly cute too! some also tend to do this, which is also stunning
for extra curly hair, shorter sides with a longer top IS ALSO VERY CUTE LIKE THIS IS ONE OF MY ALL TIME FAVE HAIR TYPES, i would suspect that it is easy to tangle but still great short.
