Why you no deadlift??
Today was an off day at the gym. I couldn’t get 315; I think my hips were too high, and the bar was twisting when I lifted and I couldn’t figure out why!
I did, however, manage 245 x8, so yay!
Hey powerlifting side of tumblr, I need a lil help. I have a situation here. Um, my work requires me to a lot of cardio work (not even HIIT, dancer) and I have read that powerlifters should do HIIT if they want to add cardio to their routine. I have been noticing decrease in overall strength due to this :( Also, I am aiming to lose some body fat to make weight for an upcoming meet. What should I do? Compensate by eating more? Please help, thanks.
I am dangerously close to not being able to fit into any of my jeans because quads. Like I haven't worn jeans much since the winter except for special events here and there and it is getting increasingly harder to get them over my legs, and well my butt... and then get them off my legs.
