In the dark night, we're the lovers of the sound waves & gamer life, but it's not nearly as possible to do all that without the life in the daylight supporting all of this. With a new schedule comes the opportunity to jump into one of our favorite activities, nights with Potions & Pixels. Charlotte Scene, you might recall going to several of the gaming events when they still took place in epic fashion over at Petra's in Plaza-Midwood. With the future in mind, Michael Zytkow of P&P has stepped away from there, but still carries on the ambition of growing the Queen City's gaming scene by way of both Board Game events & Video Games at locals like Camp Northend & CBT Charlotte. Tonight was wonderful, as always. With massive love for tabletop pleasures, P&P always has the latest & rarest of titles out for display. Our favorite earlier was Throw Throw Burrito, a game by the creator/cartoonist of The Oatmeal, where you play cards with speed, getting 3 of a kind & declaring a food fight is always a heart-stopping moment. 2nd place has to be Dude, the game where literally that's one of 3 words that pushes the game forward. We're mum here on what the "future" we spoke of is, but stay tuned here for more, and just maybe, we'll let you in on some bigger things... till then, keep tabs on their FB page & social media. If you've never been to P&P before, you're def missing out 🎮🥂💖. #potionsandpixels #cbtcharlotte #boardgamenights #boardgames #charlotteevents #theoatmeal #throwthrowburrito #keepplaying #keepgaming #rf20xx #reportingfrom20xx (at Carolina Beer Temple Charlotte) https://www.instagram.com/p/B0SSJJ9JIrv/?igshid=p2vrxmq47xv
