I'm going out to lunch with my aunt and brother today and I have this horrible feeling that my brother is going to get pissed off and then out me to her

I recently had to explain nonbinary people and the use of they/them pronouns to an older, religious woman that I used to take horseback riding lessons from and i basically told her that some people don't identify as being simply male or female and prefer to use they/them pronouns instead and I told her about how a lot of people are like "You can't use those pronouns, you have to identify as being a man or a woman!" and she said, "Some people in this word just get so fed up with trivial things. God said that we're supposed to love our neighbors as ourselves and respect everyone!" and I'm not religious but I think she had a good point and I think this is how it should be for everyone.

I'm so glad Jesse and I are starting to skype and talk more again I have missed them a lot :D
