Kind of. But not in a sense “be a bad lover” (I feel compelled to make this clear, ha!). He said that one should not satisfy them too much (whatever that means) because it makes them disgusted with you. Or something along those lines. Indifference ignites them and excessive caresses disgust them so you should play hard to get be careful blah blah blah who hurt you, Antoine? 

It’s in his fragments (stuff that he wrote in his notebooks) so nobody knows what he meant or why he wrote it. It goes:

Fun fact: this is written right before the infamous “story” about lovers, but not as a part of the same fragment.
