Postmodern Art Popsicles are a fun and beautiful way to change up regular popsicles. These frozen treats are a treat for the eyes as well as the taste buds. They have bright colors and a smooth texture.
Ingredients: 2 cups heavy cream. 1 cup whole milk. 3/4 cup sugar. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. Assorted food coloring gel or liquid.
Instructions: In a mixing bowl, combine heavy cream, whole milk, sugar, and vanilla extract. Stir until sugar is dissolved. Divide the mixture into several small bowls or cups, depending on how many colors you want to use for your popsicles. Add a few drops of food coloring to each portion of the mixture, creating vibrant colors. Mix well. Pour the colored mixture into popsicle molds, alternating colors if desired. Insert popsicle sticks into the molds and freeze for at least 4 hours, or until completely solid. Once frozen, remove the popsicles from the molds and serve immediately. Enjoy the colorful and artistic treat!
