The postlimit feature, which tells you how many posts you have remaining in the day, has been broken since late last year (keeps returning 403 errors) and Iâm kinda sad about it⌠it was really a helpful tool.

Do not mess with the dashboard setting below.
People are reporting problems after accidentally changing this Tumblr setting. It's confusing and poorly described. It should be ON (light blue as shown above)
If you turn it off, you will have no theme at all, even for logged in users. Everyone gets cycled back to their own dashboard where they can only see your recent posts in a generic window. Everything else is gone too, including your archive. Thereâs virtually no way to see your older posts. And useful sites like postlimit.com will no longer work for you
To avoid all this, simply leave that switch in itâs default âonâ (blue) position. If youâve already changed it, just change it back - everything will return.
Note: To find this setting, click on "settings" on your dash. Then select the blog on the right & scroll down to "privacy". The setting is labeled âallow logged-out users to see this blogâ
