jfc don't ever use postimages.org for image hosting. i first had to transfer 700+ images there (and manually change all the ao3 links 🔪🔪🔪) when imgur changed their policies to stop allowing nsfw images. they were unreliable and slow then, but lately, almost no images hosted on postimages have been loading at all. if i'm lucky, they load at fucking dial-up speeds or halfway, like it's 1996
Hey, tumblr mobile is awful for searching blogs and you'd THINK I was smart enough to tag my reblogs with something intelligent (like refs) but I remember you (99% sure it was you) made a post about where you host your images for uploading on ao3. Do you have a link to that post, or even to the site you use?
Thanks in advance!

Hi! I feel your pain about Tumblr mobile hurrrgh it's so hard to find things on there.
There's this post I relogged a while back that links to postimages, and that's what I use since imgur changed their 'community guidelines' to stop allowing sexually explicit images on the site. And since some of my fanart is smutty, I had to switch over to postimages, which is... not great, tbh, since images sometimes don't load or load at dial-up speeds, but I do like the way you can organize images on there. Sadly, there aren't many options when it comes to hosting images that don't conform to regressive, puritanical notions about sex. 🙃
I've also seen people recommend squidgeworld, but since the site seems to be down, I guess that one is out.
I hope this is helpful! Good luck!
