LLDPE pauses after recent declines
LLDPE prices were flat this week following earlier softening. Indian LLDPE prices remained unchanged from the previous assessment, indicating a calmer phase after wider movements.
On a fortnight basis, prices are Rs 2/kg lower, while the month comparison shows a similar decline. Over three months, LLDPE prices have fallen by Rs 5/kg. Recent trading has stayed between Rs 90/kg and Rs 95/kg, with volatility easing in recent sessions.
Compared with last year, prices are lower by Rs 4.5/kg. Indian LLDPE prices therefore remain softer in a longer-term context while stabilising near current levels.
