My first batch of #postcardstovoters in a long while! Mostly just magazine pictures with washi tapes from @marylikespostcards. One experiment with homemade “tape,” but since I was writing Florida Cote by Mail, it seemed obvious to use my new Vote by Mail tape! . . Last night I wrote 42 postcards for the Women’s March Action Ditch Mitch campaign. Wow, does their script have a lot of words! Good thing I write small! Honestly I am shocked and amazed my hand or wrist didn’t complain more. But I *am* running out of my favorite tiny stickers and am spending way too much time these days scrolling through the billions of stickers on etsy. . . It seems like all the political campaigns are running volunteer postcard campaigns right now. Which makes sense, given how important this election is, but how problematic it is to ask people to canvass door-to-door. Feeling a little broken hearted this morning after the results of Super Tuesday, but it helps a little to put these out into the mail. We had a ridiculously productive postcard night this week, with 25 cards out for Judge Jill in Wisconsin, as well as getting a HUGE amount of work done on our stack of postcards for Postcards 2 Wisconsin for general primary turnout. . . Right now I have a huge stack of postcard blanks on paper that feels just a little thin to me, so I have been brainstorming for days on what I want to do with them to make them both fun and a bit stiffer. Only ten postcards going out today for #FlipCA50 from our postcard party last night, but it was another night when we colored and stamped and got lots of cards ready for the next party. Plus Lori churned out *100* postcards for the Postcards to Wisconsin campaign when she was recovering from surgery and we started adding stickers and decorating those.
