2. alinas attack took place on december 7th, 2023 when she was 14 years old. this is exactly one month after natalies 14th birthday. natalies attack took place on december 16th, 2024 when she 15 years old. this is one year and 9 days after alinas attack.

3. both were described as “calm and quiet” and “weird, but keeps to (herself)” by classmates.

4. in the time leading up to alinas death, her father described her as angry and “like a zombie”, stating he was afraid to even approach her. in a text conversation between natalies father and (presumably) his friend, he stated “so if i dont die before (next week), and shes still in this mood, ill be dead before christmas.” in a discussion about natalies access to the gun safe.

5. alinas father was charged with incitement to the suicide of a minor and negligent storage of firearms. natalies father was charged with giving a dangerous weapon to a minor resulting in death and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

6. both were famously in dangerous telegram group chats that encouraged violence and self mutilation. these group chats were taken down by their owners immediately after their attacks.
