A number of mystical and magic objects are mentioned in the Egyptian texts, they are as follows:

Ankh: The key of life, it gave the Gods their divine power and allowed them to resurrect the dead they were often depicted carrying it. The Ankh (depicted top left) may be a reimagining of the earlier Sumerian Rod-and-ring symbol since both are similar looking images and both are held by divine beings, some have also equated the Ankh to the Kabbalistic tree of life suggesting that the Ankh is the ancient Egyptian varient of later Semitic imaginings of the tree.

Book of Thoth: A legendary book of spells said to have been written by the God of scribes, Thoth.

Djed: A pillar (depicted upper central) it represents the spine, backbone or “seed bone” of Osiris, this bone was called the “Hieros Osteon” to the ancient Greeks and the “Sacrum” to the Romans (both mean “sacred bone”) the Egyptians claimed the seed bone was essential to resurrection. The Djed pillar is depicted with the conjoined two arms of Heka symbolising magical properties and often with ankh’s hanging from them alongside a serpent contained within a circle. This symbol is likely related to ancient Egyptian kundalini/serpent energy mysteries.

Knot of Isis: Also known as the “Tyet” it resembles an ankh with its arms down and is associated with the Goddess Isis. This symbolic item was linked with magical practices of healing and binding and may have depicted a cloth used to absorb menstrual blood. Amulets of the Tyet made from red jasper were often bandaged around the chests of mummy’s. This symbol may relate to the sacral knot worn by later Minoan snake Goddesses around their breasts.

Mandjet: Also known as Matet or Semktet were boats (depicted upper right) used by the sun God Ra in traveling from the underworld to the heavens and back.

Sistrum: A musical instrument (depicted lower left) sacred to the Goddesses Hathor and Isis. The sistrum was a kind of ceremonial rattle said to have magical powers including seduction, warding off evil spirits and stopping the Nile from flooding.

The day before Trig Regents, we decided to have a Trig Party. :D Pretty successful I suppose.

We ordered pizza and since Neriel came late, we trolled him. Ahahaa, he looked so helpless and disappointed when he saw it. But we did save him some though.

Reylyn's teaching caused a lot of controversy. LOL. Points for effort.

[June 21]

Ah, the regents was pretty okay. I probably got around an 80 or so. (I hope) Afterwards, we decided to go to the Thrift store where Meredith bought Emma's birthday present and we just looked around in general. Reylyn and I got another slice of pie, blueberry this time while Melodie tried the apple pie.

^LOl, she said she wasn't going to come because she was sick and didn't want to get us sick. YEAH OKAY. She went and we're all still okay.

Came home and loafed around. Who needs to study?

Chemistry over; Testing over! To celebrate, Sharon, Melodie and I headed over to Reylyn's house to bake for Emma. Along the way, we told Reylyn to make us some food, but we ended up ordering Italian anyways. I really enjoyed the day.

Food food food! Reylyn labeled the cups, and she wrote "lame" on mine. THANKS TO SHARON. //QQ. And somehow the conversation ended up on elbows, and when we heard this we both reached for our elbows. Since the moment was so lame we acted like nothing happened.

So concentratey. :3 Tongue colored cake batter. LOL. It had a similar texture, too. x_x

After baking it, while it cooled we played VB. There were dogs everywhereeeeee. /wants. Then Sharon had to leave and we came back inside. Reylyn, Melodie, and I played Scrabble poorly since we kept coming up with three letter words. At the same time, we introduced Big Bang to Melodie. :D (RAP) LOOLL. TOPTOPTOP!

The two of them watched me ice the cupcakes. I don't think I did that bad of a job considering I did it with a ziploc bag.
