    Something was different, just… nobody could tell you when the change happened. It took the expression ‘in the blink of an eye’ to a new extreme. As if Nya and Jay’s suddenly renewed relationship wasn’t odd enough on its own, as time passed more oddities would arise. Jay had always been a bit of an eccentric, and was known for his dramatic flare. And, sure, him and Nya had always been close, but, never this close.

    There were days where it seemed as if Jay had no interest in speaking to the other ninja, while others all he wanted to do was be around them. He was unpredictable. Not in the way that Kai was, not hot headed and brash, but it was almost as if he could become a totally different person in the blink of an eye. On the up side, though, at least he wasn’t afraid of spiders anymore. He always claims to have dealt with bigger in the past and takes care of it himself. Weirdo.

    As time passes, a nervous sort of suspicious begins to rise in the other ninjas. While nobody dare asks (emotions have… really never been the teams strong suit), it’s hard not to worry.

    For the sake of all of them, they kinda wish it would all just go away.

    Jay doesn’t know how Nya can do this. How she can just… remember all that happened and still be just fine with it and move on with her life. Then again, he’d always known that Nya was stronger than him, and more than that probably the strongest of the ninja.

    Maybe it really wasn’t as big a deal as he was making it, either way.
