In my defense, its tabletop miniature looks much less silly and it generally performs as an extremely nasty melee combatant - I was just completely unprepared for my opponent’s formation ability that gave a -2 to hit to his RAC/5s.

UG is great, the alternative is the AG (also funny) which like completely over complicates and ruins one of the best, simplest melee bruisers in the game.
