The Changing of the Seasons is a new series we've been working on for a few months, consisting of four stories that take place during the Alvarez War and its aftermath.
In the first story, Rogue reflects on the past, present, and future after Sabertooth and Blue Pegasus suffered a resounding defeat at the hands of Bloodman's forces.
The second one follows Gray after the Book of E.N.D disappears, signaling Zeref's defeat and all the things that might imply.
While the third takes place after the war is finally over. Erza is forced to confront a simple truth: although a lot has changed, some things never will.
And in the fourth and final story, we explore a new era as life in post-war Fiore sets the guilds on fresh paths.
While the series was inspired by this edit, it also reflects our dissatisfaction with the last chapter of Fairy Tail. This isn't exactly a rewrite of Alvarez, as much as it's a retelling of specific moments in a character's POV. We didn't stray too far from the manga, and most of the changes come at the end of the war.
