#positive rambles

I wasn’t on the stream yesterday, but I have heard what has happened. Lukey has every right to set boundaries, and we as chatters and viewers should take said changes in emote usage and other things with grace and dignity. This is a real person. Lukey and Pangi deserve to be appreciated as separate people, they are both so amazing, including without the other one being around.

So, here is an appreciation post about Lukey!

First of all, that’s literally my streamer guys, dare I even say comfort streamer usually. He has built a community of (mostly) such kind and accepting people who are just genuinely nice to communicate with.

Lukey puts so much effort into caring about his community too. He streams almost daily, and gives us so much different content to consume. Some of my personal favorites other than Minecraft have been Peak streams with friends and scary Saturdays.

Don’t even get me started on the Minecraft content, and the quality of it. His lore is so well thought out and incredibly engaging, it’s actually what got me into the realm. All the lore events that happens really make me feel something, and I’m sure it does for other people too. And I absolutely love it when he sometimes pulls back the curtain and talks about the meta of it all, like showing us the secret behind all the magic.

As a pretty new Lukey viewer (I only started watching about a month ago), his streams never fail to make my day better, even when they are heartbreaking lore streams, because they are equally heartbreaking and beautiful. I’ve had Lukey say “Hi” to me and others in chat, and it just shows that, even with his ever growing amount of viewers, he’s still so willing to one on one interact with his community. Like it’s just nice to be like, oh, my streamer knows I exist! (In like a oh yeah I’m a username on a screen still, not a parasocial way ofc).

But yeah. (Also his laugh and smile are so contagious I can’t even that’s the first thing I noticed when I started watching him). I made this post as a Lukey main, but I also have equal parts appreciation for Pangi too as his own content creator, and I encourage Pangi mains to spread positivity about him too! Both deserve so much recognition for all that they do and how amazing they are, individually, without the inclusion of the other. Because they are their own people.

As someone who's in a polycule myself, and has been for a few years now, seeing the game itself actually present Polyamory, Even if in the funniest way possible, Gave me and my partners so much joy just to see something like that. Because rarely any other media portrays something like this ON PURPOSE! Like sure, the first time it did it, it was done on accident (COUGHSWEETCAPNCAKESCOUGH). But even then, just seeing a purposeful portrayal this time, along with even more material that has made the Deltarune community go CRAZY with potential of Polyamorous ships, it legit makes me SO happy to see people experimenting more with polyamory in fictional media! And seeing people ACTUALLY enjoy it! It's absolutely crazy!!

I love Deltarune for just how much it's bringing more light to more obscure ways to love

Deltarune gives you so much creative freedom on how you can portray the relationships of the characters! It legit makes me so happy!

(Y'know, as long as it isn't harmful, in the regards to how some people try to take this creative freedom and make it into something gross)

BUT ANYWAY

1) HIS EARS + ear-ring

Ears

Jin's ear shape is often a bit longer and slimmer than normal monkey ears and the reason I draw it like that is because that's how I draw macaques ears, he inherited the same ear shape as macaque and it kinda symbolizes his kinship to the celestial monkey not only that but Jin's hearing is also like macaques; sensitive

(Although his hearing isn't as sensitive as macaques since he's still young adult so his range on how far he can hear will depend on his age range + the con of having longer ears means they're more sensitive to the cold soche gets earmuffs in the winter)

Jin's ear-ring is the shape of a star kinda to symbolize the fact bro is obsessed with the stars it's his hyper fixation guys, he would make his whole room stare themed if he could/pos

2) his face marking

His face mark is supposed to look like a combination between macaques and a shadow clones due to the fact that he indeed was created via use of shadow cone magic so it ties back to his creation :3

3) he's got freckles!

Technically this detail doesn't really symbolize anything I just really like this small detail and wish to show it to you guys Because it's a cute detail :3

SO LIKE THE ONE THING THAT'S BEEN HELPING US WITH VALIDATING OURSELVES AS A SYSTEM IS LIKE YEARS AGO WE USED TO ROLEPLAY A LOT, RIGHT??? WE'D MAKE SILLY LIL STORIES THE THING ABOUT THAT IS, WE'D LAY IN BED AND JUST STARE AT THE CEILING WHILE OUR MIND WAS CREATING SAID STORIES (mainly oc x canon and selfship(us x canon)) AND LIKE WE'D JUST DO NOTHING ELSE???? THE CRAZIEST PART WAS THAT WE "SPOKE TO OURSELVES" IN DIFFERENT VOICES IN OUR HEAD THAT WAS **NOT** NORMAL?????? WE LEARNED THAT FROM NO ONE??? AND LIKE WE THOUGHT IT WAS COMPLETELY NORMAL???? LIKE WE'D SAY IDEAS IN OUR HEAD AND THE OTHER VOICES WOULD AGREE???? LIKE THAT WAS OUR MAIN FORM OF COMMUNICATION BACK THEN????? LIKE WE ONLY SPOKE DURING THOSE TIMES???? LIKE "we should make these two gay for eachother" "fuck yea we should" LIKE I DON'T EVEN THINK WE USED "I" OR "ME" DURING THAT??? LIKE I SWEAR I THINK I REMEMBER ONE OF THE VOICES BEING SIMILAR TO HOW 303 SOUNDS NOW THAT WE KNOW WE FORMED HIM???? MIND YOU THIS WAS LIKE 2017-2020 BECAUSE IT WAS WHEN WE WERE ROLEPLAYING A LOT ON ROBLOX SO LIKE??? WE WERE ABOUT 8-11 BACK THEN??? WE DIDN'T EVEN RECOGNIZE THE OTHER GUYS AS FICTIONAL CHARACTERS WE WERE "IMITATING" WE JUST?????

It definitely has ups and downs, time when I'd rather be just myself then this weird conglomerate of 25 other people. But at the same time- this is my home man.

Other people decided my body was worthy of housing them, my brain wanted to house others. It's just so heartwarming.

I may be pretty much traumagenic, but c'mon man, you can see it as a disorder/problem or you can embrace that your body, your very brain is so magical and able to adapt to the world in such a way that you share a brain.

I'm not saying plurality is all shits and giggles, God no, even we have our moments of arguing and bickering, when all we want is to be truly alone.

But learning to appreciate our system and our headmates was one of the best decisions I've ever made.
