AU where Sheith are neighbors who are secretly pining for each other but neither have the nerve to make a move until one day Keith chases after his cat who went out on the fire escape up to the window above him only to find out his cat is also Shiro's.
Cue the cute and mushy domestic Sheith we all love as well as Keith finding out what a sneaky little shit his cat is for somehow finding her way outside more often than she should.

AU where Keith is in a popular K-Pop group with 5 other members and Shiro is one of their security guards. The two become really close friends and fans of the super group end up shipping them together only to find out a year or so later that they've been seeing each other on the down low
Due to the 9 inches of snow NJ got yesterday resulting in 3 hours of shoveling my behemoth of a driveway, I was inspired to write this little AU:
- Keith lives on the East Coast with his mom while he finishes high school/starts community college
- While on a business trip, it snows and Krolia’s flight gets delayed which means Keith gets to clear his driveway alone. Such joy.
- Shiro works for a local snow plow company and has been plowing local roads since the storm started picking up
- While plowing the cul-de-sac Keith lives on, Shiro nearly knocks the poor man over from the sheer force of the snow his plow sends in his direction while he’s shoveling at the bottom of his driveway
- Cue Keith yelling “you could have killed me” among other profanities in the truck’s direction since he’s now cold and wet
- Shiro bounds out of the truck to try and help Keith and is taken aback at how beautiful this stranger is; his dark black hair is covered in snowflakes, purple eyes stark but bright against his milky skin. He’s a vision and Shiro barely notices the man has stopped talking before he re-enters their dimension
- “Oh uh..I’m sorry.” “You’re sorry.” “Yeah uh do you need help with your driveway? I can plow it really fast.”
- “That’s not the only thing you can plow” Keith thinks because damn this man is fine
- They end up standing there at the bottom of Keith’s driveway for a few minutes just staring at each other in awe of how attractive one another is before introducing themselves
- Shiro ends up clearing out Keith’s driveway and in thanks, Keith asks him if he wants to come inside for hot cocoa and end up exchanging phone numbers before Shiro has to leave and finish his rounds across town (and possibly come back later 😏)

Future episode where the Paladins encounter and help out a technologically advanced alien race who dabble in the world of prosthetic limbs, much like the Galra, but they only issue the prosthetics when needed. They also have a synthetic skin they've created and offer to cover Shiro's robot arm in said skin.
Shiro accepts the offer and the skin bonds with his own, covering his arm and creating fingerprints, fingernails, as well as adpating to the melanin in his human skin. It has a sensory input that Pidge can't wait to study back at the castle.
Shiro's finally able to feel warmth in his right hand again, able to touch Keith's face without causing him to flinch at the cold metal of his fake fingers. Shiro finally feels a little more human again.
I know everyone wants Shiro and Keith to kiss during the show but at this point I’d settle for a short scene with them holding hands at the end of the series or something.
They’re back on Earth or maybe back at the castle celebrating now that the war is finally over; Keith is standing visibly exhausted just staring out the window and Shiro comes up beside him and puts his flesh hand on his shoulder. Neither of them speak but Shiro slides his hand down to intertwine their fingers together. Keith gives Shiro’s hand a gentle squeeze before they look at each other fondly and the camera zooms out.
