Nightshade is totally an emo, goth girl. 100%. All the time. Okay, thatâs a lie. She melts around cats, just absolutely melts. And growing up she always donated half her allowance to charity (which her parents didnât understand; she might just be the only teenager able to saying âYou just donât get it, Mom!â and be telling the truth). And of course, she likes things spotless--if that black makeup gets anywhere on her carpet, so help her, Creator! Basically this whole âgothâ thing was something that Nightshade adopted to fit in--suddenly there was a group of people that pouted and complained as much as she did without being jerks about it. And they did share her taste in music, after all. So maybe she overemphasized those parts of her personality to feel accepted, and maybe it got to a point that thatâs just what her personality became. Sheâs okay with that. Sheâd be okay with changing that, too, but sheâs okay with it.
