I decided im a post-work-out daze that the #poseofthemonth for December shall be pincha mayurasana or forearm stand. I start from all fours and come onto my forearms. Elbows AND hands should be shoulders width apart like two train tracks. If you are ready to come up (if it’s hard to maintain parallel forearms) than just come up off your knees and work on strengthening in Dolphin pose. Once that is secure (there’s no rush) you will simply lift one leg. Both legs should be straight and you should be able to maintain a square pelvis. When the time is right and the foundation is planted, you will have no problem floating right up. DON’T KICK UP (like I did) concentrate on stacking shoulders and then ribs and then hips. In other words tip-toe your feet closer to your elbows, and start with a wall to assist. Have FUN!!!
