nervous fucking thing!!! she’s incredibly skittish and paranoid and has very little trust for new people (but she’s getting better). mentally somewhere around thirteen so shes perpetually just miserable. joking. very catlike and very sleepy post-corruption. she likes lying in the sun :)

vivi has come a loooonggggg way. she’s less of a sopping wet cat than she used to be and she’s slowly relearning how to trust people. she likes video games and is especially fond of the DS era of games, and she’s also very interested in web design and programming. she likes insects and marine life and her favorite bug is the spiny flower mantis.

she has some sort of dissociative disorder and a few distinct identities she switches to under certain triggers (which she personally refers to as “facets.”) she developed this as a result of the corruption fracturing her psyche and due to the prolonged trauma she experienced. this is me projecting my own cptsd onto her

vivianites as a gem type was created in the timeframe of the gem war, made to be assassins (referencing how irl vivianite grows on corpses). vivi herself is pretty small and made specifically to look as nonthreatening as possible in order to get closer to her targets. the ole bait and switch!! she’s created to be confusing— her electrical abilities are more associated with yellow diamond, but she’s a blue court gem; her gem is intentionally hidden, too.

vivi’s main abilities are related to electricity, and she’s able to sense other gems from a limited range. her secondary ability is (limited) invisibility. she’s not great with either of these and struggles to utilize her abilities

- she’s also a shark for this reason, sharks have electrical sensors and use electricity to sense prey! iirc real vivianite is also used in technology but i don’t remember where i heard that
