I kinda had this image in my head of Porrim drinking tea...

I like Porrim a lot, to be perfectly honest! You can tell I am being serious because I have suddenly remembered the location of the shift key on the board. Anyhow- at first I remember being somewhat put off by her for no particular reason. I think that getting so many new characters at once made me tense up and sort of go 'Whoa there boy! Don't forget about your old babies!' In essence I had sort of become unfairly biased against them. Anyways, I think Porrim really shaped up to be someone super awesome- her views on Beforan society, how she rebelled, how she treats Kankri like a child, and how she's especially strong minded about female empowerment is interesting and intriguing. She gave a cool insight on gender play within the troll culture, I always appreciate expositions on the topic of Alternian civilization- pick a topic, any topic, I will be super curious. She also is one of those people who others may judge on appearance, but as a person is very sophisticated? I relate to that on a very vague level- back when I had red tips for that small amount of time, I went to a few family friends' houses and everyone thought I was some weird ass punk kid who did weed and was a terrible influence. I hadn't even opened my mouth, seriously, what the fuck. I'm not even vaguely close to that perspective on me but, luckily, I didn't really care about those people. But Porrin was cool because a lot of people are already calling her a slut, a whore, and even Kankri side-handedly disapproves of her many relationships (ugh), but she turns out to be, already within a few conversations, very chill, very confident, and not at all afraid to be outside a norm. What a chica.
