One thing about Wordpress is that it allows me to not only see how many views I get in any given day, but also what people looked at, and how they found me. More and more people are finding me via search engines as opposed to my various social media, academic, and community connections. This is...weird for me. I’m glad they are, because I’m proud of everything that I put out. But it’s still vaguely strange. It’s not even just my academic works people are finding either. More and more I’m seeing people stumbling on my opinion posts. When these people reach out it’s great! But the sheer number that just view them and then go on to view others is like sitting next to a window in a cafe and having people looking in at you.
