i have so many thoughts abt rarepairs all the time and u bet i have thoughts on this one (canon or not canon)
they are my little babies. they call for HOURS because mary loves talking to him but he gets nervous in person
peter fell first, mary fell harder
they send each other notes in class and giggle under their breath when they get caught. They spend mornings inside playing chess or reading after spending the night sneaking about the castle
they both are gryffindors to the core, they spend ever hogsmeade together at the sweets store, they share hot chocolate at breakfast
they werent the first in the friendgroup to have crushes on eachother, but they got together faster than ALL of them
mary helped peter with his history of magic homework, peter kept mary entertained when she was dreadfully bored, UGHHH THEY R SO CUTE I NEED TO TALK ABT THEM MORE
and if i said mary helped peter with sole gender identity problems what then...
oh ALSO for a bit of angst ;; poppyseeds have the ability to kill rats, yet some think they are alright for them.
when peter went off the rails, there was one person everyone turned to:

her and peter had just broken up, the war had gotten too stressful. they were fighting constantly, and peter had been worrying her.
