It all began with art and books — worlds born from others' imagination. But today, walking through my city, I realized: it holds no fewer stories, mysteries, and beauty.
I only know its history superficially, and I want to dig deeper. So many incredible people were born, lived, and created here! For example:
Nikolay Nekrasov spent his childhood and youth here;
Konstantin Balmont studied at the classical gymnasium for boys;
Leonid Trefolev was born and drew inspiration from these places;
Fyodor Volkov founded the first Russian public theater here;
Leonid Sobinov — the great opera singer;
Valentina Tereshkova — the first woman in space.
So I’m starting a new adventure — for myself and for you. Let's explore Yaroslavl together. I’ll wander around, discover the most atmospheric spots, uncover old secrets, and share them here. These will be my personal routes for inspired walks. Perhaps you, too, will start seeing your city in a new light.
