Alas, I’ve never played TS4, so I don’t really have any idea if it would be possible or not. :) As I understand it – I could very well be wrong; I haven’t really been paying any attention to the game since shortly after its release – you can’t create your own neighborhoods in that game or add many lots to the existing ones. In fact that was the thing that made me lose all interest in the game, as my main reason for enjoying the franchise is its “sandbox” and world-building aspects. TS3 isn’t as sandboxy as TS2, which is one of the reasons why I’ve stuck with TS2, and as I understand it TS4 is even less sandboxy.

So, if that’s still the case, then you’d need to be able to clear out an existing neighborhood of all Sims or at least there needs to be a way to block any non-playables from appearing on any of the lots – Something like the Visitor Controller for TS4 – or else you won’t have isolation, which is sort of a key. :) If you can bulldoze all existing lots in a neighborhood and build something more rustic-rural instead, that would be good, too…although I suppose there’s nothing that says you can’t have modern, on-the-grid isolationists. :) It’s just that most people with that mindset want to be self-sufficient and separated from “the world,” and that includes rural living and not being dependent on power grids and telecommunication networks. :) You also need some “non-traditional” ways for Sims to earn a living. In my neighborhood, that’s agriculture and crafting which is achieved through Maxis stuff and CC stuff. I don’t know if such things exist for TS4. And there are all sorts of other details, as well, that I’m not sure you could do in TS4. 

All that said, I did post the ruleset for the first stab at this sort of play-style that I did. It’s here. I’ve since expanded/refined/added/deleted/changed a number of things (a few of which are outlined in this post), but that will give you a good idea about how it works until I manage to write up and post the new ruleset. Then you can see if you think any/enough of it is doable in some way in TS4 to do something like it in that game.

To be honest I have only created some vamps in cas & took a quick look at the world.

So far I can only say that I love the world & love all the details (veins, etc) & hairs that come with it.

I was glad to see that the dark form copies all your sims details & can be altered afterwards instead of producing a whole different facial structure (like aliens or ts3′s werewolves)

I was disappointed though that kids & toddlers don’t get a dark form & thus all the details are not available for them.

I was looking for 3t2 sims the other day as well :-) Thank you for the links, deedee-sims - if anyone comes across any more I would be delighted :-)

I know, there are some more (I only listed sims from the said neighborhoods) I’m seriously thinking about making a full list of sim recreations from other sim games! :D

It’s actually kind of a spin-off of Emperor of the Dark. Lucy is dead in that one, too, although her death serves a much different purpose, and the focus is of course on Angela and how it effects her.
