Anyway the thing I think is funniest about this concept is how from Vox's perspective he was in a 30 year long situationship with Alastor. They were unfathomably close, basically lived together, and there is no one in existence who possibly knows half the secrets Vox does because Alastor is such a deeply closed off and anti social person. And then they separate, and its really sad and traumatic on both sides. They're both clearly dealing with the severe fallout of that.
And then within 3 years, Alastor has PUBLICLY started dating another Overlord, fucks him/shows a lot of PDA and openly talks about his queer relationship on his show. And gets FUCKING MARRIED by 5 years.

Vox: well I can't expect Alastor to be super affectionate or actually put the work in our relationship or apologize or compromise or help me or do anything. Its not in his nature. He's just kinda a dick and can't change. But I love him.
Alastor: *immediately changes (I mean barely, if you wanna call it "changing") in order to maintain his new relationship. Openly shows affection and a willingness to defend and support his husband*
Vox: ok.
Not to mention....it's Husk. Alastor's rebound, Alastor's "fuck you" relationship, his "I'm moving on and I don't need my shitty ex" relationship is with a depressed, alcoholic, chubby cat. Alastor didn't even upgrade. Luckily Al is with Husk for his personality not his lack of money due to his gambling issues and small dick.
