Sebastian, who isn't like Mopple and who can choose to forget unpleasant things just as much as the rest of the sheep, chose to remember his trauma at the carnival, chose to remember just how much George did for him, refused to let himself forget the man who saved him, refused to let the flock he looked down on forget the man who did so much for them all. Was there anything that Sebastian ever did choose to forget? Or did he always refuse to? Did Mopple know there was a kindred sheep among the flock so that he might not be so alone in his memories?
