Part of the reason Jaxs' mask was breaking last episode was because everyone was "breaking character" BIG TIME
Gangle wasnt as emotional at the start and instead acted upon logic (sorta) and gave the group a "direction" to go in as opposed to being the "sad one".
Zooble showed their emotions as opposed to being the "grumpy" one.
Gangle comforted Zooble, its usually the other way around.
Zooble was nice towards him.
Ragatha became all pessimistic.
Kinger became sane.
And of course Caine went apeshit.
Everyone went against their "archetypes" big time, especially Zooble and Gangle near the start. Jax clearly didnt expect it and, maybe in his mind it was evidence that it was in fact real.
Obviously he tried to shove that fact down until Kinger began talking about C&A, and something about that seemed to make him "accept" the fact its real.
