i have so many feelings about electro
think about it. him and spidey are the same in so many ways - the victim of an accident caused by some funky science who then gained crazy abilities from that funky science. the main difference? the look.
peter looked pretty much the same as he did before the spider bite. he could get accustomed to the changes in his own room. max was glowing blue. he couldn't even get home without being stared at. he woke up in a weird place with no idea how to get home anyway.
spider-man is a hero. electro immediately had guns turned on him because he looked terrifying.
and while that's not fair i do understand why the cops were wary. he looked really dangerous (which he obviously was) but i find it so sad that everything was turned upside down for him just because he looked so scary. if the cops hadn't turned on him then he wouldn't have been upstaged by spider-man and wouldn't have turned against him
and he wouldn't have become a villain and then lost everything
and i just feel so sad for him because his whole life was just one big plea to be seen, and as soon as someone finally saw him, they tried to shoot him.
