thanks for the advice, love! I've been refreshing when it happens - it's just seriously getting on my nerves! takes away from my system I have going! :P
You’re very welcome sweetheart! I have a degree in Computer Science so I know the more advanced stuff to computing =) Captcha’s really are horrible though and it’s so weird that they don’t have a refresh rate - normally if you can’t read the lettering (because let’s be honest) some of that lettering is really hard to read you can normally move to another word and enter that.
In this case the capcha system is actually so much easier to read, although it lacks the appropriate buttons to change the captcha or listen to it in audio format etc…
So all I can recommended to you is to delete your Internet Cookies and all of your history. The only problem is that you will have to enter any usernames/emails/passwords again since your entire web browser will erase everything, although this can sometimes overcome glitches in website (such as the captcha glitch you’re dealing with) and to me this does sound like a glitch.
A quicker way to refresh is to use CTRL + R. This is a quick manual refresh through your keyboard and such a good shortcut to use. It also saves you using your mouse. If you have a number of tabs running with multiple windows (including Tumblr) your CPU usage will be used more so everything might seem a little slower. Try limiting your tabs as your system could freeze (not permanently, only for a couple of seconds or up to a minute)
I really hope this helps you and good luck getting everything to work properly! =D
