|| how does your oc feel about jaime lannister? ||

oooh i answered some of their history in this ask! but they have quite a good relationship and aryn thinks quite highly of jaime. she was nearly betrothed to him when they were kids and she had good first impressions of him then. during the rebellion, she identifies with his struggles of being trapped far away from home with enemies in every corner. she is overjoyed when she hears that he killed aerys, she’s just happy to see him dead. and then that’s where the relationship ends until the greyjoy rebellion, until the incident where jaime attempts to save her and partially succeeds, it’s complicated. so she once again views him highly and fondly, she understands the idea of being pulled in many different directions.

in the wot5k, aryn could not care less about the twincest, she’s seen far worse nor does she care about if stannis the rightful king or whatever. you may be asking about ned? well let’s just say ned may not be in king’s landing this time

|| does our oc and brienne of tarth ever cross paths? ||

hmmm, there is a possibility and i do think they have mutual respect for each other. aryn in brianne’s eyes is a hardened woman who is strong, fierce and independent and aryn thinks brenne reminds her of her sister and her love of being a lady knight. brienne is disgusted by aryn and the rumours she hears about her, what she has allowed to happen and what she has done while aryn pities brienne. she admires that she stands for such morals but also think that until brienne has sat in her shoes for what was done, then she can judge. for only she has been truly married to euron greyjoy, so nobody can ever understand.

|| who would your oc most likely get a puppy-crush on? ||

i feel like jaime is too easy so i’ll go for robert surprisingly. for the few times they meet, she thinks he’s very handsome and finds him funny. she thinks they would be far better suited for each other than him and lyanna. she thinks that it would all work out, he could hunt, throw parties, do as he pleases and she’d be left to run the castle and be herself. whether this is true is debated but it was real to teenager aryn. rip she would have been a great queen.

|| has your oc ever been rejected by a canon character? ||

i suppose tywin because he cancels the marriage plans? mistake on his part. but also roose bolton turned down marriage to her, he was sus of her and he probably as right about that. magical freak recognised magical freak and he decided he didn’t want that coming into his haunted castle, she was just too mysterious and strange for his liking.

|| is there a canon character who would die for your oc? ||

ned. 1000% ned. they have their differences after many years apart, ad they’re not as close, but he would die for her if he ever needed to. ned is stuck in the past, and part of that is keeping promises to his dead siblings, which means protecting his last sister. maybe also urrigon greyjoy, aeron’s brother who died after the maester sewed his fingers back on and they went septic; aryn saves him from listening to the maester and therefore he lives. this means he follows her around and protects her, getting over his own fear of his older brother, in the process. i suppose urri ends up being a bit of an oc due to not knowing him well, but he technically counts as canon.
