Hackers stole $390k from Poolz Finance

Cross-chain Web3 platform Poolz Finance (POOLZ) dropped $390,000 to a hacking incident on Mar. 16, according to Forkast News’ report.

Hackers attacked Poolz Finance’s token vesting protocols on the Binance Smart Chain (BNB) and Polygon (MATIC) chains, Forkast Information mentioned. The attack was to start with seen by crypto sleuth PeckShield, who Tweeted the trouble to alert Poolz Finance.

PeckShield noted:

“Our preliminary assessment displays the @Poolz__ hack is because of to a typical arithmetic overflow issue, which is exploited to drain money from the contract.”
