I feel kinda bad for Hapu’u, hopefully she makes many visits to Melemele, she’s definitely one of my favourite side characters and definitely the most improved character from the games, not that I disliked her game version, just had no strong feelings towards her, here she had a lot of layers, an actual antagonistic side (which resulted in great and fun interactions with Satoshi in particular) and even a bit of an arc leading up to her becoming an Island Queen (it wasn’t focused on that much since pretty much every episode in this arc did something major for the main characters, but the implication seems to be that she needed to care more for people and appreciate the fun of Pokemon battles, as there were many instances of her observing Satoshi and his friends battle and the moment that made her worthy in Kapu Rehire’s eyes was her strong desire to save them. Her voice and elderly way of speaking were also really fun, a great fresh performance by a classic voice actor Junko Takeuchi~

Gosh my head still hurts from SM108′s crying fest.... I think I’ll play a bit more of Masters then off to bed, since sis comes tomorrow again. (Btw, outside of first-time rewards, is there actually a legit way of getting free gems in this game, it feels like there ain’t and that in my book is really bad. Digimon Links had much better gacha elements if you ask me...)
