Mosiah 4:27 See that all these things are done in wisdom and order; for it is not requisite that a man should run faster than he has strength. And again, it is expedient that he should be diligent, that thereby he might win the prize; therefore all things must be done in order.
I find interesting the repetition that "things be done in order," and I think in order to win the prize and avoid laboring more than we have strength, we need to prioritize.
If we give priority to the things that matter most in our life, not only will we run and not be weary, but we will attain the prize. We will be blessed because if we are putting what matters most as top priority in our life, it means we are doing the Lord's marvelous work and wonder, which can only reap incredible blessings we could in no way comprehend.
Having a balance in our life and fulfilling important covenants and serving others before committing to idleness and recreation, will not only bless us but will also give us a sense of purpose. And in the end, a sense of purpose in this life is the best prize we can attain.
Micah 7:7-8 7 Therefore I will look into the Lord; I will wait for the God of my salvation: my God will hear me. 8 Rejoice not against me, O mine enemy: when I fall, I shall arise: when I sit in darkness, the Lord shall be a light unto me.
This is one of my favorite scriptures, and I chose it for the first week of Elder Durrant’s ponderize challenge because it is a scripture I often turn to when I need strength from my God to overcome my trials. It is a promise that He will hear us, and through His help, we can overcome any fall, and we can escape any darkness. We have the potential to overcome all our trials, and if we call upon our God in our time of need, He will help us realize our potential so that we can arise, and we shall arise through Him who died for us.
My ponderize verse for the week. 🙌

Mosiah 23:18
“Therefore they did watch over their people, and did nourish them with things pertaining to righteousness.”
Psalm 40:1-2
“I waited patiently for the Lord; and he inclined unto me, and heard my cry.
“He brought me up also out of an horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings.”
