@pomzelena asked:
Frieren (Sousou no Frieren) and Henry (Fire Emblem) It's subtle, but still relatively easy to tell. This man is being followed. He doesn't seem particularly threatening right now... but who knows what he's capable of. Slowly, Frieren approached the man. "Not to alarm you, but someone's watching you." She wasn't sure why she spoke up. She doesn't know him, she doesn't even know if he's someone she 'should' be helping, but... Something about him made her reconsider. A little voice in her head, telling her to warn him. Soon after she spoke up, a tiny smile crept onto her face. I suppose that little voice won't be leaving anytime soon... Because even in death, a hero will try to protect those around him.
Henry hadn't been 'home' in a long time. And yet, they still manage to send more and more bounty hunters after him. Initially, he was sitting in front of a fire with a book on his lap and his eyes closed. Though he didn't exactly give the energy that he was relaxing. Especially when Frieren spoke up and caught his attention. His eyes still didn't open.
"That's a pretty menacing thing to say first thing, you know..."
He stretched his upper body for a second. Twisting with all the time in the world. As he began to mumble under his breath.
"Left? No. Over here? Nah."
Then, his face changed. Frieren might know it well, that moment when a hunter locks on to something that did not want to be found.
"Actually..."
The book on his lap opened and started flying through pages. There was no doubt, this man was holding no mere book, but a grimoire.
"There!"
The white-haired man outstretched his free arm and sent a wave of black electricity through the darkness, leading to a scream.
. . .
There was only silence after that. Henry remained calmly seated the whole time. It seemed the attacker wasn't part of a squad, so they should be fine.
"Hey, why don't you take a seat? I can at least thank you with some food!"
The young man asked with a kind, almost eerie smile. Eyes still obscured by eyelids.
