Character Dynamics

Rumi: Omega, but hiding it. Rumi's story arc draws key parallels between her demon side and being closeted, particularly as it pertains to gender/gender expression. More specifically, Rumi disguises her designation as Alpha for safety and social purposes through a combination of suppressants and blockers, both of which are common in the idol industry. Her demon heritage affects her experiences with her dynamic.

Mira: Omega as well, though more open about it. She has a deep craving for connection/belonging and is fiercely defensive of her chosen pack, especially within the context of having an "atypical" build for an Omega. While she does also use suppressants/blockers, she doesn't correct people who assume her designation one way or the other.

Zoey: Alpha, and proud of it. She uses meds like Mira and Rumi, but speaks much more openly about her designation and experiences, particularly as it pertains to her career. As the only member of Huntr/x that has a confirmed dynamic, Zoey sometimes gets extra attention at meet and greets or concerts.

Jinu: Omega, though he's the first known example Huntr/x has of how demons' dynamics differ from that of humans. He can be protective, possessive, and aggressive in a way that humans mainly associate with Alphas, though it's necessary for safety and security in the demon realm.

Romance: Alpha, one of the most annoying Jinu has ever met. His pheromones are strong even for a demon, and he's not above using his dynamic to force his way through if he gets into hot water.

Abby: Beta, but so self-conscious about it that he's constantly rubbing himself against Romance in an effort to smell more like an Alpha. He cultivated his musculature to "compensate."

Baby: Beta as well, he just doesn't care as much. Like most Betas, his sense of smell isn't very sensitive, so most dynamic related information and conflict goes over his head. Whatever those guys have going on is usually none of his business, unless he can get off watching it.

Mystery: Omega, and the most feral about it. He's always itching for a fight, whether it's one he'll win or not, and his favorites to pick on are Romance and Jinu, but he'll sink his teeth into any threat without a moments' hesitation.

Bobby: Beta. I don't need to explain myself.

Gwi-ma: Alpha. I don't need to explain that either.

Notes on the Universe

At different points in the timeline, there is Polytrix, Polysaja, and Polyidols, though all characters have their own relationship dynamics with one another.

The way I work with/explore my AUs is a method I call "scattered timeline," which is to say that I have the entire story in my head, from all the different character's perspectives! This is overwhelming to write, however, so I take requests to guide which parts I should focus on. If you want to see something, shoot me an ask and I'll write it!
