andromedamirtleĀ ha contestado:Ā Iād swear that when I was using google translate yesterday, they didnāt have them. Today the list is almost twice longer.
rudestlouisĀ ha contestado:Ā Sesotho and Chichewa must be extremely recent. I used it to triple check my Latin a day or so ago and they werenāt there.
polyglotted answered your post: Is it just me or does Google Translate...
Yeah⦠they added like 10-11 new languages last weekā¦
argusarganĀ ha dicho:Ā Theyāre definitely new! Thatās exciting
aspirantoflanguageĀ ha contestado:Ā It did add a few recently
marathemaraĀ ha contestado:Ā Itās not just youāLanguage Log has noticed too.languagelog.ldc.upenn.eā¦
andbrittlebonesĀ ha dicho:Ā Tajik is spoken in mid East/ Cent Asia. In Tajikistan and other areas. Variant of Farsi. Not African
linguistenĀ ha contestado:Ā Tajik and Sundanese (you missed one N) arenāt African lgs.
rudestlouis, lol Google translate for Latin??? But you said triple check so I'm assuming you just meant like a word or something simple. So this goes for anyone else reading this that is tempted: don't use google translate for Latin until you learn how. If you don't ever learn how, that's okay.
This is really exciting!! Y'all should, check out that LL link from Mara
andbrittlebones, I know, but I was in the middle of class and typing this when the bell rang so I wrapped it up by looking at theĀ pattern that most of these are in Africa (which is pretty undeniable...only Sinhala, Sundanese, and Tajik aren't spoken in Africa, out of 9). Wait I just went somewhere else and saw on my phone that you also said that Igbo was already there. So it was 3:5 Asian to African, how about that? :DThe languages themselves are what're more important anyway :p
linguisten, I totally didn't see that omg! I thought it was Sudanese, again, going along with the theme of languages from Africa. I hadn't ever heard of Sundanese (until you brought it to my attention)
polyglotted replied to your post āsomeone get me a sugar daddyā
Can we share one?
sure! If he can't support us both, he's clearly not fit to support just one.
