I know a few different people have talked about it. When TJM was first announced, a fandom friend on FB made a post about how we should have a streaming party, but nobody commented on it. I guess because nobody she tagged knew how to do that (I was one of them). And I think I remember some people in the HA! chat talking about it. I don’t think anyone’s made any concrete plans?

That said, we do really need to have a streaming party. I was looking into how to stream a couple months ago, but I’m still kinda ????? about it. Streaming’s tricky. If we do manage to get this running, we should probably have a few different ones so we can hop between them in case of any errors. Because there will totally be errors, man.

Oh, dude. Dude. I have 84 fics. And this blog is centered around my biggest one, Life with the Shortmans, which is 424,694 words and counting. The one I’m working on now is apart of that series, and it’s about 14,000 words now and estimated to be about 25,000 by the time I’m finished with it.

ahhh, let me split this into 1) what do i expect and 2) what i hope because those are two very different thing lol.

what I expect: 

1) lots and lots and LOTS of cameos. every side character that showed up in one or two episodes before is going to be here now. from the clip that was released already, i think this is already confirmed. side note: I was very happy to see pigeon man, mostly just to prove he is alive. 

2) We are going to get closure on Arnold’s parents but that MIGHT not be seeing/confirming they are alive and are going to meet up with Arnold and live with him. 

I really think that Arnold is going to learn the importance of family in this movie (like has in Arnold’s Christmas, Arnold’s Thanksgiving, and so many other episodes) but that even more, family is not blood. I think this journey is going to remind him of his friends’ love again and again and that this will provide his closure, even if he doesn’t meet his parents. (I also feel this because I know Craig Bartlett revealed that he would meet up with this parents. So maybe he’s decided to change it now that the project is green lit) 

3) If in fact all the characters end up in the jungle, they are going to get split off into separate groups in the jungle. I’m calling the following groups: Helga/Arnold/Gerald/Phoebe, Harold/Rhonda/Eugene/Lila, and Nadine/Sheena/Stinky/Sid. 

4) Arnold and Helga will kiss. It will happen.

5) Arnold will remain in Hillwood long term. 

6) A waterfall is going to cause some havoc. 

now what I hope will happen: 

1) Arnold and Helga will kiss AND admit to each other FINALLY that they have feelings for one another and begin a sort of something with another. Doesn’t have to be completely defined. But even just holding hands in front of the other kids WOULD MAKE MY LIFE. 

2) More Phoebe and Gerald interaction. I always loved the tiny snippets of these two, platonic or not, in the original show. hoping for more of that.

3) ARNOLD’S LAST NAME. I know we have all our guesses but I just want it confirmed. (Note: this has been confirmed to be answered in the movie but I’m too lazy to move it up lol) 

4) Phil and Gertie getting some screentime because I love them both so dearly 

5) Miles and Stella being found and coming back to live in Hillwood 

6) A school scene. I know it’s the “Jungle Movie” but my fave episodes happened while the kid’s were in school so even just a tiny clip of them there would be great
