From the admin to that ‘Other’ response on the NFT poll “I like [NFT dates], but wish it was clearer when they are”:

Hopefully I can clear up a little bit of the confusion. The NFT date is usually posted with the announcement of a video itself; it’s usually written after the rule to not trade, share, or gift the video. For example, on Sunset’s releases, he’ll write:

***please if you get this do not trade/sell/copy/share until after [MM/DD/YY]

Each master (at least the main ones) write basically the same thing, but the length of the NFT period varies on the release date, quality, and even if it’s a full video. Usually, they tend to be about 3-4 months after the release, but I’ve seen a video with a NFT date close to seven months after its release. (To be fair, this video is the only one I know of with the understudy in the main role, and the master is still very new, having only started in September.)

If you see a video posted or talked about, and don’t know if it’s still NFT, you can ask around to other traders or message this blog (you can send me an Instant Message on Tumblr or email me, as well - check the NFT page for the email). I have a page with NFT dates, but I haven’t been posting anything new to it because the masters have written “Do not repost any of the info” or “Do not list” until the NFT date has passed.

Basically, if the video was filmed in the past six months, there’s a very good chance it’s still NFT.

Anyway. I thought whoever submitted the poll might be interested in the nuances and different factors affecting it.

I do often feel that porn has warped a lot of people’s ideas of an average penis (and various other body related stats). Every penis I’ve seen irl rests around 1-3 inches when flaccid. And it’s very likely that many of the “soft” penises people post online in places like Twitter have been fluffed, as in stimulated into a state of semi-erect to appear larger. Rarely do people actually look that big just going about their day, and a lot of medical articles will suggest that the worldwide average penis size is probably smaller than most people assume (around 5 inches). That disconnect can be really harmful to people’s body image without proper sex education and with the spread of common misconceptions and misinformation online. I just wanted to share for anyone who may find it helpful!

And to clarify, this is NOT anti porn, far from it, I simply want to remind people that porn is not always representative of real life, and to be conscious of the ways in which it can affect our perspective about ourselves and other people. This is also not meant to shame anyone with larger or smaller than average genitalia, every single size and shape of any kind of genitalia is valid and worthy. ✨
