I really really look forward to my pole dancing classes. I feel that the combination of music, athletic skills & artistic dancing influences mixed together makes this fitness exercise a sexy and a beautiful one. Pole dancing encourage me to make friends with my own body which I am quite upset about with the imperfections such as stretch-marks (which I believe I can never get rid of), and this workout boosts my confidence & self esteem too. One fun fact is that the lesser the dancer wear, the better grip they will have. Please do not relate to strip clubs kind & nudity... Please think: Art, Endurance, Sexy, Fitness! It is really not easy. I even read that some people are pushing this to be part of an Olympic event! I am lucky I've a supportive open minded husband that doesn't stereotype. #polehusband As pole dancing is a full-body resistance, core and cardio workout... I'm employing every single muscle to work. My whole body feel so sore after each lesson. Which also means better sleep too, lol. The simple act of just climbing a pole requires unfathomable muscular strength (which I gained my arms strength prior to this from carrying an 11kg baby everyday). What I really love about pole fitness is that it's not boring! Everybody just focus on the music, learning new pole tricks & having fun! I do get some bruises here and there , it's part and parcel! I wish that as time goes by I will reap a better posture, a toner & flexible body, a fearless, happier, confident self. P.S. Thank you Chloe @kwekie8 signing up on this self discovery journey with me and be my pole buddy! Can't wait to see you next week! #poledancing #buildingselfconfidence #polefitness #fearless #fridaynightthoughts
