Team Crown has attacked! Part way through the Contest Finals, Team Crown interrupted by filling the arena with a thick smokescreen. Armed with a brand-new kind of Pokéball, they start stealing Pokémon left and right! Will the gang be able to fight back and protect the people and creatures they love? Or will Team Crown prove to be too strong, too organized, to be thwarted?

It’s time for the Contest Finals! With the tickets gifted from Prof. Hullum, the Trainers meet up with Prof. Burnie to watch the best Coordinators in the entire region duke it out for the title of Top Coordinator. It’s a whole new way to compete with Pokémon! Our Trainers will see some familiar faces as well as new... but even feel-good events can take a turn for the worse.

The Trainers are back on track! Edgar has evolved into an Umbreon, and what would normally be a cause of celebration has Ryan doubting his battling ability again. And the timing on that couldn't be worse as the Gym Leader has returned to Nurn, meaning the gang can resume their quest to go to all of the gyms. Things seem back to normal for now, but if the events in Zanzibar are any indication, that could change at any moment...

Time for a break! Our Trainers head to Zanzibar, a large coastal city known for beaches, gambling, and drinks. So while the third Gym Leader is out somewhere on business, the Trainers get their chance to relax and have some fun.

A place like Zanzibar is supposed to be all fun and games... but large buildings cast large shadows. If our Trainers let their guards down too much, they might find themselves in more trouble than they’re prepared for.
