I’m an INTP and my favorite colors are pastel pink and baby blue. I’m a reserved, quiet person and definitely a bit of a book worm. I recently graduated with my masters degree and now I work with children in a rather troubled, low-income school district. I enjoy working with them and try my best to make all their days a little bit better! My hobbies are reading, gaming, and trying new recipes. As an adult I love all the cute and pretty things that I hated as a sad teenager. 😂 Really I just want to bring a little more gentleness to a world that can be so hard on people. My favorite Pokémon types are grass and fairy, but really I could fall in love with any of them. I’ve been a fan since the earliest days of the Pokémon series, so I have a soft spot for the nostalgic first generation.

(*) Shaymin is normally a bashful & timid Pokemon. But it holds a lot of power within. It doesn’t seem to really care about this, though. It’s more concerned with peace. It might not even view itself as very strong at all, most of the time. 

(*) It can easily feel underappreciated. Being the gratitude Pokemon, when it senses strong, grateful feelings, along with the bloom of a certain flower, it makes a total switch! It becomes braver, more confident & much more competitive. A lively & feisty spirit is brought out.

(*) This rare Pokemon does best in the care of a trainer who can understand it’s needs & make sure it’s not around toxic, or stressful environments! Shaymin needs someone with a similar sensitive & understanding nature for it to bond strongly.

(*) Shaymin Sky Forme is very playful! It will want nothing more than to play with it’s Pokemon friends & it’s trainer, in the beautiful garden it’s created for everyone to enjoy together.

(*) Shaymin may be somewhat finicky & sassy when it’s comfortable with it’s surroundings! It can be charming for the few people that get to witness it’s more unreserved behavior! There’s quite a big personality underneath all the shyness & fluff, even in it’s lazier Land Forme.   

(*) Shaymin is an emotionally intelligent Pokemon, so it will be keenly aware of it’s trainer’s & teammate’s feelings. It can even be naturally telepathic. When it senses sadness etc… in it’s loved ones, it will want to calmly comfort those who are openly receptive to it’s natural empathy. It will be very grateful for it’s trainer, and will try to reciprocate it’s trainer’s care. It will want you to not be so hard on yourself. In the eyes of Shaymin, a loving trainer’s self doubt is unwarranted. This Pokemon will help you learn to nurture yourself the same way you nurture your Shaymin & those around you.

my friend @pokepartners​ has a blog on here for pokemon partner / team requests, and i thought it looked like a really cool idea - so i’ve decided to have a go myself! i’m completely new to this, but i’ve always loved pokemon, and i think it’d be a really neat thing to do.
