For those who are struggling to evolve Pokémon like Type: Null that require maxed out happiness, a method that I’ve found is using Malasadas to your advantage. Look at the nature of your Pokémon and find that nature’s favorite flavor. Each island’s shop has different flavors. For example, the Malasada shop on Melemele Island has Sweet Malasadas, which my Hasty Type: Null loves. Have a few battles after giving your Pokémon the Malasada and it will be ready to eat again. Keep doing this while periodically checking in with the friendship lady in KoniKoni and getting a massage once a day and you’ll be able to evolve! I hope this helps.
