In the Pokémon anime episode "The Bonds of Mega Evolution!" (In the xy anime series), Korrina's Lucario loses control during a Mega Evolution transformation and bits Korrina. I don't think enough people talk about how scary this would have been. Both for trainer and pokemon.
Imagine having your bestest friend since childhood loose all control of itself? It's no longer available to hear or recognize you due to the pain it's in during it's newly awaken mega evolution form. That it charges and attacks you.
It wasn't shown in the anime, but those teeth would have definitely drawn blood. Imagine how your pokemon would have felt coming back to reality? Seeing that it caused physical harm to you but wasn't even aware of it happening? ðŸ˜ðŸ˜”
