In the past she loathed her organic half, fearful that she would eventually fall victim to the same mental instabilities of the other mutants, not noticing she was already depressed. but the mutant's leader icebird thought her to love herself even at the expense of others

Poison Bite is a transmetal mutant chemist (although she'd prefer if you didn't check her credentials) like her name implies her body secretes dangerous poisoned oil, this poison can transmute certain liquids it encounters into more oil, the american dream, not exactly ideal for living things, forced to watch as black sludge pours out of their eyes. the oil created by the poison is also irreversibility contaminated with transmetal residue which makes it break down into it's base elements over the course of a few hours, not ideal for anybody really.

From the moment she came online Poison Bite felt like she was a disgusting abomination, something of a perfectionist, she looked down on the other mutants until she saw her own reflection, unable to reconcile her standards with her sense of self she became incapacitated with depression, she was even at a point where she would painfully hurl every day as some kind of respite

Her mopping did not go unnoticed by her fellow mutants, they tried to cheer her up the best they could but even looking at them reminded her of her problems, but the one thing that could get any reaction out of her that wasn't weeping or vomiting was nightbird, Poison Bite dispised nightbird for getting the six clan the transmetal driver, leading to her creation
